Diamond Jubilee Garden Party
4th June 2012
How could the Jubilee pass without a Garden Party.

The Yompers Journey
2nd June 2012
Extract of email from Dave McPherson:
YOMP 2012 was a great success. Weather was kind to us, bit of snow before and more snow as we were leaving the island, got a couple of soakings on yomp but managed to get dry at our stops, will give you more details next time we meet up.
We got plenty photos of "The Yomper" (now called Geoff for no particular reason), we were unable to carry him on yomp because we could't pack him in bergen, due mainly to the plinth. What we managed was, on our drive up to Port San Carlos we stopped at the settlements and photographed him that way. We met up with him again at Two Sisters on the last day and he was with us at The Globe for a beer. In between times he was photographed at various locations by C/S Trev Law's wife and freinds, he was even at a curry night with freinds (other bronze statues), think he became quite a celeb over there. I'm still waiting to recieve other photos of him, will forward them to you as well as soon as i can. He is currently in possession of Mike Cole, that saved me carrying him all the way back up here.
This Saturday we are off to Condor for the reunion, Mike is doing a short presentation of the yomp.
COTSWOLD HALF IRONMAN
24th June 2012
The Cotswold 113 half ironman distance triathlon.
Colin completed this event which had swirling winds which made the bike section particularly difficult in a time of 6hrs 6mins. This month, Rob had opted out of participating in any further challenges, my thanks to him for his support along the way although there is still time.....
Warminster Triathlon
1st July 2012
July kicked off early with Colin doing the Warminster Triathlon. Not too bad after the extreme of the 113 - time for a few weeks relaxation I think before Salisbury....
